The Euratom Equestrian Club regularly organises training clinics in Angera for both novice riders and professionals wishing to refine their riding technique. These sessions provide an opportunity to complement regular riding training with in-depth work on riding skills, horse management and the quality of technical performance.
The aim is to provide an environment in which riders can observe their own way of riding, receive technical guidance and apply it directly while working with the horse. Sessions can be organised as group or private lessons, allowing participants to choose the format best suited to their needs and current level.
Technique and practice
Horse-riding training courses
Training clinics are a complementary activity to riding courses, providing dedicated time for in-depth technical work. Taking part in training clinics in Angera means having the opportunity to focus on the relationship between horse and rider, the precision of the aids, position in the saddle and the management of ridden work. The guidance received during the clinic can also serve as a reference for subsequent training, encouraging greater awareness of one’s own technique.
This training approach makes it possible to carefully assess the areas requiring the most work and address them through exercises and guidance consistent with each individual’s progress.
Hands-on experience
Clinics with experienced riders
The clinics at Club Ippico Euratom are also led by Mario Verheyden, an internationally experienced rider, Level Three Instructor and federal trainer. His work at the club allows students to complement their regular training with sessions focused on equestrian technique. The centre also benefits from the regular involvement of Albert Voorn, an internationally renowned rider and individual show-jumping silver medallist at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. The presence of professionals with sporting experience gives participants the opportunity to benefit from guidance developed at competition level and apply it to their own level of training.

Group or private clinics
Training clinics can be organised either in groups or privately. The two formats offer different approaches to equestrian work, while keeping the goal of improving technique, control and awareness in the saddle at the centre. The choice between a group and private clinic can be assessed according to the participant’s level of preparation, the technical aspects they wish to explore and the availability provided in Club Ippico Euratom’s programme.
Both options allow you to include the clinic experience in your equestrian journey, creating time dedicated to observation, practice and improvement.
