At A.S.D. Club Ippico Euratom, show jumping in Angera can be practised both as a recreational activity and as part of a structured competitive programme. Students are supported in their technical development according to the level they have reached, with activities designed to improve horse control, precision and preparation for tackling progressively more difficult courses.


The sporting programme of Club Ippico Euratom also includes participation in national and international competitions, as well as qualifying events for championships. Students in the competitive category can therefore follow a dedicated competition calendar, organised according to their technical preparation and the path they have undertaken.

Passion and competition

Show jumping requires technical preparation, consistent training and the ability to build a strong partnership between horse and rider. During their training, students gradually learn to manage the different paces, maintain a correct position and approach obstacles with greater precision.


For students embarking on a competitive career, taking part in competitions becomes an integral part of their sporting activity. Competing in national and interregional events or qualification competitions allows them to put into practice the work carried out during training and become more familiar with the dynamics of a competition.

In-house show-jumping competitions

The club’s show-jumping competitions represent an important stage in the students’ development. These activities allow them to experience a situation similar to an external competition and gain confidence before taking part in national or interregional shows.

Competitions are generally divided into different categories, based on the rider’s licence and the technical level they have reached. This structure makes it possible to offer classes suited to each rider’s experience and to the training pathway followed at the riding centre.

Beginners are riders who hold an A Ludica licence. The categories generally range from B60 to B80.


For these riders, competitions are a first introduction to the dynamics of competition. The aim is to consolidate the basics acquired during their training and learn to manage the horse, rhythm and lines within a show-jumping course.


Taking part also helps riders become more familiar with the competition environment and with the various stages that precede and accompany entering the arena.

Advanced students are those who hold a riding certificate and compete in classes generally ranging from B90 to B115.


At this level, the technical work becomes more complex. The rider must be able to tackle courses with greater consistency, controlling distances, maintaining a suitable position and managing the horse through the different stages of the course.


Taking part in social competitions allows advanced students to further refine their preparation and gain the experience needed to face competitions at increasingly higher levels.

Experienced riders are considered to be students holding a 1st-level licence, typically competing in classes from B115 to C135, or a 2nd-level licence, from C135 classes up to Grand Prix level.


At this level, show jumping takes on a more structured competitive dimension and requires experience, preparation and consistency in working with the horse.


Experienced students can tackle technically more demanding courses, where precision, control and the ability to manage the horse-and-rider partnership play a central role.
