ETHOLOGY COURSES

Contact us

A.S.D. Club Ippico Euratom is a riding school that wishes to offer all-around services dedicated to the world of horses. This is why ethology courses held by highly qualified personnel open to both members and outsiders are organised throughout the year at the headquarters in Angera.

Considered a noble animal, the horse has been one of the most important allies in the course of humankind's evolution, so much so that an ancient Arabian proverb calls it 'a gift from God'.

THE HORSE TOUCHES THE SOUL OF THE PEOPLE IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH

Ethology courses and foal work are divided into levels based on the horse's preparation: starting with the basic level, taming, and then gradually reaching the competitive level, which includes participation in competitions in the young horse categories.

If a subject has technical or character problems, the owner will be supported during the correction work by qualified instructors who will help him study and apply the best strategy to resolve technical difficulties and misunderstandings in the pair.

NOTIONS OF EQUINE ETHOLOGY

Those who attend the courses, taught by highly qualified personnel, will be able to learn the main notions of:

  • equine ethology: knowledge of the main ways in which horses behave, to have the necessary tools for a correct approach. A further aim of the course will be to help participants overcome any fear that horses may sometimes generate.
  • equine physiology: basic knowledge of the skeletal-muscular structure of the horse, through analysis from life.
  • saddle baptism: Participants will be given the notions for the correct use and positioning of harnesses, such as saddle, girth, headboard, and of protections, e.g. shin guards, shin guards and neck guards. At the end of the course, all those who have participated will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding a horse.
