A.S.D. Club Ippico Euratom organises educational days in Angera for primary and middle-school children, offering an introduction to the world of horses through educational activities, observation and direct contact with the animals. During the day, participants can explore subjects such as equine behaviour, the physiology of the horse and the main activities involved in its daily care. Instructors guide the children through clear, easy-to-understand explanations, adapting the content to their age.
The educational experience is therefore designed to introduce younger participants to horses gradually, combining learning opportunities and practical activities within the facilities of Club Ippico Euratom.
L’anima del cavallo
Extracurricular educational project
The project is called “L’anima del cavallo” and aims to introduce children and teenagers to the equestrian world, helping them learn more about horses, the environment in which they live and aspects of their everyday lives. The educational days in Angera offer the opportunity to explore this subject outside the traditional school environment, creating direct contact with the animals and the spaces where they are cared for.
Observation is an important part of the experience. The children can see at close quarters how a horse behaves, how it interacts with people and what care it requires in its daily management.

Educational days with horses
Young participants learn the basics of four main areas:
- equine ethology;
- equine physiology;
- grooming;
- first ride.
This content explores horses from different perspectives, from understanding their behavior and physical structure to care activities and the first introduction to riding.
Education and nature
An experience for schools
Club Ippico Euratom’s project enables schools to offer their pupils an extracurricular activity related to the world of animals and learning about the equestrian environment.
Through direct experience, children and young people can learn that a relationship with a horse requires care, respect and observation skills.
Ethology, physiology, grooming and a first ride therefore become tools for learning more about the animal and spending an educational day outside the classroom.
