Training young horses - Club Ippico Euratom

Our instructors are qualified in the training, preparation and corrective handling of young horses.

Work with the young horses goes from breaking in to competition level and includes participation in competitions in those categories reserved for young horses. Corrective work with young horses with technical or behavioural problems is undertaken in close consultation with the owner in order to find the best way to resolve any technical difficulties and increase the level of understanding between horse and rider.

The programme is divided into three phases:

1) The rider works with the horse in hand to improve the level of collaboration.

2) Work with the rider to improve technique and seat.

3) Work with the horse to help it become more collaborative and calm in its work.
