ETHOLOGY COURSES
Throughout the year Club Ippico Euratom organises
equine ethology courses for members and non-members.
The horse, which is considered to be a noble animal, has accompanied the evolution of man throughout the centuries, so much so that an ancient Arab proverb defines it as a “gift from God”.
The horse touches the soul of whoever it comes in contact with.
Participants in the course will learn about:
EQUINE ETHOLOGY
Knowledge of the principal behaviours of the horse, to be better prepared for a correct approach.
How to control stress levels and overcome any fear of horses which people may often unnecessarily have.
EQUINE PHYSIOLOGY
Knowledge of the musculoskeletal structure of the horse using a real horse as a model.
FIRST TIME ON A HORSE
Participants will learn the rudiments of the correct use of tack, with particular attention given to putting on the saddle and bridle. They will then feel the thrill of sitting on a horse for the first time.
The courses are run by highly qualified instructors.
